NOOSH NEO PERSIAN EATERY - INNOVATION OF A TRADITIONAL CUISINE
Bringing a new flavour to traditions is always a good call. Yalda Golsharifi's was inspired to re-educate the market on the versatility of Persian cuisine by presenting it thought a young, innovative concept that challenges our traditional understanding of the Persian cuisine.
We created Noosh, a Neo Persian Eatery serving up modern, health conscious and hearty dishes.
The word Noosh has several meanings in Persian. The oldest meaning of the word is “generosity”. Today it is found in the common female name Mahnoosh, which means “beautiful girl” but is originally derived from “someone seeking the moon (beauty)”. There are old meanings to the word Noosh, which mean ‘generosity’ and ‘destiny’. Also Noosheh jaan (literally “may it nourish/be sweet to your soul”) is also the equivalent of “bon appétit”.
